MacGregor Mens MACTEC NVG2 Irons (58764 views/week)

Tour professionals make such consistently perfect contact with the ball that there's an area of wear on their irons they call the "Dime Spot." Because most golfers have more of a "Silver Dollar Spot," the technology in the MACTEC NVG2 irons creates unmatched distance and forgiveness.

Set Composition - #3 Iron Thru PW: 44°

Iron Back - Cavity Back

Oversized Irons - Yes

Iron Face - 450 Maraging Steel

Iron Construction - Cast

Shaft - Microstep Steel - Triple Action Graphite

Grip - MACTEC Custom Soft Cord Grip

Handicap - Mid-High

I bought my first set of NVG2 irons 3 years ago regular shafts, last years I had a new knee operation onmy left leg,My pro suggested I change to seniors shafts so I bought the NVG2 seniors shaft clubs,I played with callaways for years but from the first day I tried the macgregors I was sold,my regulars were great but now I find my seniors shafts are even better for ball control and length, around the green I was surprised just how easy they were to control,I am delighted I bought them they are a very forgiving club.

These clubs are incredible to hit. I went from really struggling with my Nike Pro Tour combo to hitting these effortlessly. The Nike had great workability but these just go as straight as you like. Even when I want to work the ball, I cant they just fly so straight. Lets face it, you need a club that puts the ball up the middle of the fairway and these babies are it.

Bought a set at deep discount sight unseen, and found them to be different than normal looking clubs, but grows on you quickly. Squares up nicely, and delivers a powerful blow if you let the club work which i don't always accomplish. Club longer than former irons, and I hit some shots yesterday in 2 club wind that i never have hit in all my yrs of playing golf. Since they are giving them away on Ebay, I think they are a great buy. Easiest club to hit i have ever swung, but not a real Bubba Watson type club since workability doesn't come about easily, but that could be me since i hit a straight ball.

I have just bought these clubs from Ebay to replace my Macgregor M455's

I have the 6i - Sw set and can honestly say that these are about the best clubs I have played with.

At LEAST 1 club longer than the M455's, very easy to use, very forgiving, simple design, simply fantastic!

Well done macgregor, these are the callaway fusion of the Macgregor range, only they play better than the fusions too!
