Tom Chamberlain Review
This iron is probably the best I have ever played with. I have hit a players style iron for 25 years, starting with Hogans and moving on to Mizuno. The difference with this iron is the feel. It is remarkable. The feedback is excellent, as you would expect from a Mizuno blade iron, but it isn't unforgiving either. Mishits aren't horribly off target. I am able to work the ball with ease. If I need to hit a cut shot, the iron responds back with whatever I put into it. I have dynamic gold S300 shafts in these irons. I am able to achieve a lower penetrating ball flight, so even on windy days, my accuracy is not nearly as impacted as with previous irons. I realize that now Mizuno has produced a myriad of other irons/designs over the last eight years, but I've demoed a lot of the new offerings and nothing exceeds the playability, or workability of these MP-33s. Nothing.
